Techmire is a leader in the design and fabrication in the die casting molds industry. Techmire's machines are in operation in more than 30 countries through four continents. Founded in 1973 in Montreal, Canada, the company has the expertise to ensure its customers' success in all aspects of the die casting molds process including designing and building of dies, selection of auxiliary equipment and initial and ongoing training service.
Advanced technology
Techmire produces die casting molds with advance technology that allows us to deliver the goods: all tools designs are done on a 3-D Solid parametric CAD system with data easily transferred electronically. Mastercam is used to program tool paths which are directly downloaded to the CNC machining centers. We are the perfect partner for any of your needs concerning die casting molds.
Techmire is well equipped
For delivering high quality die casting molds, Techmire uses the thermal and flow analyses to predict what will happen inside the mold during the cavity fill event. Comparison of predictions with actual results refines understanding of the process. For producing die casting molds of superior quality, our toolroom has top-of-the-line manufacturing equipment: Boston Digital and LeBlond Makino CNC machining centers, Fadal CNC milling center, CNC Charmilles EDMs, Brown & Sharp and Jones & Shipman precision grinders.
Our customers
Die casting molds: Techmire's customers range in size from large multinational corporations to small custom die-casting companies. They use Techmire die casting molds and equipment to produce thousands of different die cast components.
Efficiency and less cost
To produce die casting molds efficiently and at less cost for its customers, at Techmire we use mold flow simulation tools. Mold flow simulation tool is a proactive solution to foresee and to prevent potential mild design problems in die casting molds instead of encountering them only during testing implying delivery delays and additional costs.
